Product Overview
Packaged in an incredibly stylish box, this hemp extract vape pen is produced in the EU, and is Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) certified. The extract boasts 59.7% potency of CBD, as well as 3.3% of CBDA, CBGA, CBG, CBN, and CBC–making this product a full spectrum extract. As you could expect from a hemp derived product, it contained less than 0.2% THC. All of these potency numbers can be confirmed with lab test results that you can personally access with a QR code on the back of the package.
The product package opens with a magnetic flap to reveal the vape pen and cartridge contained snuggly in cutout foam. There is also a marketing offer that advertises a free cartridge in your next order if you sign up for their newsletter, which seems like a pretty fair deal. Under the foam, you will find a separate cardboard box containing the product information manual as well as a high quality beaded USB charging cable; however, the cable is very short. Despite its short length, the cable quality is far superior to the typical USB chargers included with other products. Overall, the packaging is perfect as it will definitely keep the product safe in shipping, but it is not wasteful.
Product Build
The pen has an octagonal black body with a nice brushed metal feel. To insert the cartridge you must first remove a glass plug that covers the end of the pen. This is a great feature that should help keep the pen clean when a cartridge is not stored. The cartridge does not need to be screwed in; rather, it is held in place by a very strong magnet. The magnetic hold is secure and even with aggressive shaking upside-down the cartridge stayed in place. We tested it, so you don’t have to! When plugged in to charge, there is a ring LED light that lights up around the USB plug. It lights up red as it charges.

Overall User Experience
Nug found that for her, effects of lightness had a quick onset and some mild head pressure was present. For Stem, who struggles with chronic spinal injuries, the pen quickly relaxed the muscles around his lower back giving him lasting relief. After an extended session the cart does not get too hot to the touch when taken out of the pen. This is great if you have multiple cartridges or simply want to store them after use.
This is a great pen to take on the go and helped Stem stay on his feet for a night of celebrating Nug’s birthday with friends. The vibrating haptic feedback was loved by some who tried the pen, and not loved by others. The natural flavour was also not to everyone’s taste, but we find it pleasant. The cart should last you a couple of weeks of regular daily use, as long as you do not share it with your friends as much as we did.
Should You Buy It?
If you are in need of an on-the-go discreet way to manage your pain with high quality full spectrum CBD, you can not go wrong here and absolutely should pick this product up. Especially if you maximize their purchasing incentives. However, if you are in Canada prepare for import fees. If you are simply looking for a vape pen for recreational use, there may be other suitable options available to you.
Nug & Stem Review
We are a couple that enjoys regular cannabis consumption and has a passion for sharing that enjoyment. I, Nug, am a petite woman who consumes cannabis more sparingly than Stem – who is a man and a more experienced user. Medically, I use cannabis most often to help treat anxiety, so I tend to reach for strains and products with higher levels of CBD. Stem uses cannabis to relieve chronic back pain caused by sports injuries, so he relies on a wide array of products depending on whether he needs help being active, falling asleep or needs instant topical relief. Medical uses aside, we do also enjoy using cannabis recreationally with friends and would like to contribute to normalizing this amazing plant. Visit us on Instagram @NugAndStem
