I’m always on the hunt for a new topical to bring me some relief from pain due to arthritis and fibromyalgia. I also find an excellent topical helps me sleep better too, as the pain relief keeps me from waking up throughout the night. I loved CBDistillery’s Relief Stick, which worked effectively to give me relief. I was hoping the CBDistillery CBDol Salve would also help give me some respite from pain and help me get better sleep. While the relief stick was amazing, it didn’t blend as easily as I would have liked.

I prefer a topical I can massage into my legs and hips before bed. I hoped that this salve would work just as effectively to relieve pain as the relief stick, but would also serve as a kind of massage lotion.

On the box of this CBD salve, it says that it provides cooling and warming relief. The box doesn’t lie. When I first massaged the topical into my low back, hips, and legs as part of my bedtime routine, I noticed it went on cooly then after a while settled into a comforting warmth. The cooling sensation distracted me from the pain and helped me get a decent night of sleep for once. I’m pleased to say that I only woke up from pain once during the night as the warming effects of the balm made my body comfortable. I loved how easily the salve blended into my skin and seemed to last the entire night. It certainly made a great massage lotion. While the scent from the essential oils gave the topical a natural and calming smell, I could detect the slight hint of hemp. I’m sensitive to smells and I prefer my topicals to hide the scent of hemp.
