Cannabis-Infused Oil or Butterdosage according to preference
Instructions
In a food processor or blender, combine the fresh basil leaves, pine nuts or walnuts, and garlic cloves. Pulse until the ingredients are finely chopped and well combined.
Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the mixture and pulse again until it is incorporated into the sauce.
With the food processor or blender running, slowly drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil until the pesto reaches your desired consistency. If you prefer a thinner sauce, add more olive oil; if you prefer a thicker sauce, add less.
Season the pesto with salt and pepper to taste and give it a quick pulse to mix in the seasoning.
Slowly pour in the cannabis-infused oil or add small pieces of cannabis-infused butter into the food processor or blender while it’s running. This will evenly distribute the cannabis throughout the pesto, ensuring a consistent infusion.
Once you’re satisfied with the potency of your cannabis pesto, transfer it to a jar or container and store it in the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
